This premium 5-day safari covers three of Kenya’s top wildlife destinations:
Day 1 & 2: Travel from Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve for an unforgettable full-day game drive tracking the Big Five and the Great Migration.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Naivasha for lunch and an optional scenic boat ride to view hippos and birdlife.
Day 4 & 5: Head to Amboseli National Park for massive elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to Nairobi.
You will have excellent opportunities to spot Africa’s Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos). The Masai Mara is famous for big cats, cheetahs, and hippos along the Mara River. Amboseli National Park is world-renowned for its giant elephant herds grazing right in front of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Yes. All park entrance fees for the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park are fully included in our package rate. Your transport in a 4×4 safari jeep, a licensed professional guide, mineral water, and all-inclusive lodge stays (except drinks with meals) are also covered.
This route covers a wide range of habitats, increasing your chances of seeing:
Large herds of Elephants (Amboseli is arguably the best place in the world for this).
Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs.
Buffalo, Giraffes, and Zebras.
Specialized species like the Lesser Kudu and Gerenuk in the dryer areas of Tsavo.
Kilimanjaro is notoriously “shy.” It is most often visible in the early morning (sunrise) and late afternoon (sunset). During the heat of the day, clouds usually gather around the peak. This 4-day trip gives you two chances (evening and morning) to catch that iconic view.
This safari is incredible year-round. However, if you want to see the famous Great Migration in the Masai Mara, the best time to visit is between July and October. For clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, the dry seasons from January to March and June to October offer the best visibility.
We recommend packing the following essentials:
Comfortable, neutral-colored clothing (layers are best for cool mornings and warm days).
Sun protection: Sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses.
Insect repellent and a UK-style power adapter.
Comfortable, sturdy shoes (avoid white shoes due to dust).
Binoculars and a camera to capture the wildlife.
Please note: Flying recreational drones is strictly prohibited in Kenya without a government permit.
